The Out Islands of the Bahamas are now "in" and Vacation Rentals are Available

The travel section of the New York Times does and excellent job of describing the delights of the lesser- known islands of the Bahamas. As Denny Lee reports, “until recently, going to the Bahamas meant the casinos of Freeport, the tourist hustle of Nassau or the Las-Vegas-style resorts of Paradise Island. Never mind that the Bahamas is an archipelago as long as Florida.
